FlipiX is a versatile Remotely Operated Towed Vehicle (ROTV) with active motion control (depth/altitude, pitch, roll) in order to enhance payload measurement quality. FlipiX is designed to convey Side Scan Sonar and magnetometers and provide interfaces for other type of sensors. FlipiX is designed to be operated autonomously in tandem with the Drix. FlipiX can also be operated standalone from a survey vessel.
