USBL positioning systems
iXBlue delivers high-quality ultra-short baseline (USBL) solutions for underwater positioning by combining acoustic and inertial technologies fully owned and mastered by the company. The general strategy for the GAPS and POSIDONIA products is to keep things simple (deploy, operate), pre-calibrated or auto-calibrating, and open to the external world.
Subsea gyrocompasses and inertial navigation systems
iXBlue offers a complete range of high-grade subsea gyrocompasses, attitude heading reference systems (AHRS) and inertial navigation systems (INS) made possible by the mastery of fiber-optic gyroscope (FOG) technology. They are used for the most demanding hydrographical and subsea survey, construction and vessel positioning applications to provide accurate motion sensing and compensation.
iXBlue proposes solutions for positioning and metrology systems for offshore operations. iXBlue’s RAMSES and ComMet systems can provide the highest position accuracy and redundancy in the shortest time possible (less than four times for the standard method).
