Laurent graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris in France, with a complementary year of research at the MIT in Boston, USA. He is also member of IHEDN (French MOD institute of advanced studies) since 2008. He began his career in 1996 in the automotive industry, where he worked in mechanical structure design, and car crash simulation. Starting as a simulation engineer, he became responsible of specific developments destined to the Japanese industry. In 2001, he joined Thales Underwater Systems as project manager. Always on the export market, he managed various projects from small hull mounted sonar mounted for corvettes, to complete sonar suite installed on submarines, supporting also when necessary commercial offers. He was appointed in 2009, group manager for integration and sea trials on surface ships. He joined iXSea La Ciotat, in July 2010 as Sonar Systems Division Director.

Vincent spent most of his career in the geophysical/seismic industry with Sercel (CGGVeritas group) and had international business exposure with more than 25 nationalities. He graduated from ICPI-CPE, Lyon, France (1994, MEng Physics & Electronics) with a final work study at Sherbrooke University, Canada and holds an MBA from Euromed Management School, Marseille, France (2010, valedictorian).
Vincent first took the opportunity to join the French Polar Institute and wintered from Dec. 1994 to Jan. 1996 on Kerguelen Island (49°20S, 69°20E). From 1996 to 1998, he worked at Thomson CSF (now Thales) as Electronic Warfare Radio Developer / System Engineering Manager.
Vincent then jumped into the seismic industry with Sercel. Based in Nantes, France from 1998 to 2004, he acted as Field Customer Support Engineer then Marketing & Sales Manager (China/Asia, Land & Marine Acquisition Systems). He moved to Toulon as Global Marketing & Sales Manager of the Marine Sources Division (formerly Sodera, taken over early 2004 by Sercel) and brought this Products Line to the #1 global ranking position in four years. While ending his MBA early 2011, he registered a patent “for fun” and experienced Entrepreneurship by starting his own Consulting Company (Sarl BrainSharing) working on Corporate Strategy and Business Development. He joined IXBLUE in February 2012 as Business Development Manager of the Sonar Systems Division, based in La Ciotat, France.
